GENERAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
 
This role is essential to maintaining a beautiful property that will make every guest's stay comfortable and enjoyable. The Engineer is responsible for performing general repairs in and around the hotel. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing general repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including; carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, etc. In this job, you will prioritize work orders, respond to guest room calls as required, and complete any and all assigned preventative maintenance procedures. You will need to have excellent organization skills and multi tasking ability. In this position you will have the opportunity to interact with guests and virtually every department of the hotel. It requires good communication skills and is a great role for someone who enjoys a work environment that changes daily and provides a variety of settings
 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 
AVERAGE % OF TIME
 
90%                 Under direction of the Director of Engineering, perform general repair and maintenance of any and all equipment found in and around the hotel. Specific work areas will be assigned as needed to each employee, based on skill level and experience. Accurate record keeping on assigned tasks is required.   Ensure that all safety systems are operable.
 
10%                 Respond to guest room calls as required.
